Tencel® lyocell is an improved version of rayon, stronger and more stable. It has a sheen and wonderful drape like silk, and is extremely strong in both its wet and dry states. It is the first man-made fiber to greatly exceed the strength of cotton when wet; in fact, it is the strongest cellulosic fiber known.
